  • Looking for the best RC vehicle to tow a wheeled brush cutter

    Hello,

I am trying to DIY an RC brush cutter, posting here as I think RC dump trust is likely a good choice due to their ability to carry load.
    Like this one:
XK 14600 1/14 Scale Dump Truck - RTR [WLT-14600] Motion RC

Amazon says the wheeled brush cutter weights 3 lb but I think it would be heavier than that, 5~7 lb.

    Considerations and asking for ideas
    1. What kind of vehicle should I look for? RC cars seem to be more heavy duty and potentially run better on grass, but most of them are designed for speed than torque. Are they good choice for the job or are slower vehicles preferred, like dump truck, bulldozer, or tanks.
    2. How long do they last? Let's say I play a XK 14600 dump truck once every week for ~30 minutes with 7lb of bricks loaded. Would they last a few years?
    3. Does track perform better than wheel running on grass (6 inch)?
