Been looking at these for awhile, thought they were a bit high priced, read about issues they had and never got one, then MRC put them on clearance and I decided hey, why not. Was actually pleasantly surprised, it's a decent looking truck, have a few plans for it, replace the radio, wheels and tires mostly.

The case was a surprise too, it's styrofoam off course but still, will be good for transport. One negative so far, they will not accept a standard 2S LiPo pack and it looks like it would have to be modified to even fit a shorty, it's just too narrow a space.

S o far, modded the cab so it can be completely removed, converted the front suspension to a makeshift 3 link by removing the upper link opposite the panhard and installed Injora 80mm DRX shocks. There's significant improvement in travel and articulation as a result, I'm also of the opinion that the steering link is too short so I'm going to look for a replacement for that as well as replace the servo.
