Finally, the hole was bored to size, and it was a nice straight hole so the biggest hub closely fit the bore.

Then I made the arbor to turn the diameter to fit into the wheel of AHHQ's kit wheels. These Donuts as I've called them will support the back end of the hex drive RC wheel hubs I modified.

Then it went back to the lathe to turn the O.D. of the styrene Donuts!!!

Finally, the styrene Donut was removed from the arbor and separated into eight individual Donuts!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the fruit of my labor today. Here's the first AHHQ's kit wheel dry fitted with the modified hex drive hub with the Donut that will support the back of the hex drive hub. I'm hoping these wheels will withstand RC use.

Here's one of AHHQ's finished kit wheels mounted on one of the dual rear Diff's with one of the RC wheels I was planning to use for my M8 RC conversion. Which one do you like the most???

I was going to say this, but I got busy with a couple of Home related projects that have to be finished during the summer. Both my M24, and the M8 Greyhound will be on hold for a while. I hope to get back to them ASAP. I'll often check in to follow the threads I've subscribed to.
