I noticed that in the initial discussion post (I seen it after I attempted to test fly) they (Motion) are calling for 6s? So is there anything i need to be aware of to fly 6s ( Gov settings or anything)? Do I need to swap the ESC?
Regarding the: "Rotorscale 450 is underpowered on 4S batteries" issue, you may find a couple of my posts to be useful: here and here. The first (HobbySquawk) post discusses how this happened, and the 2nd (RCGroups) post discusses the details of how to setup a proper power system for the 450 class heli mechanics employed on the Rotorscale 450 (i.e. the Align 450 SportS V1).

    Hope this helps!

I just received my airwolf, 450 size and I have not been able finish the build because there was no owners manual or quick start manual in the box it arrived in. I contacted customer service, they sent me an email istructions for a generic flysomething 450, which does not tell me how to make the electronic connections or binding the helicopter and flybarless / receiver system. I am at 'stop' and cannot move forward. Can anyone help me?

That should be a good place to start.

One other thing you could try first.. See if you can get a higher tooth count pinion to bump up the headspeed. Tons of Trex 450 pinion options out there, just make sure they are for the straight cut gears.

What ESC is in it? If it’s the HobbyWing 40A, you’ll need to swap over to the 60. The Airwolf is the heaviest of this series due to the retract system, and needs the extra headspeed. I flew mine on 6S., albeit with the gov dialed down substantially. The Huey as AS350 did fine on 4S though.

Had the tail fin missing. Other than that, it's a good looking model, dug all through the box, and packaging, could not find the part, sent a service request ticket.

Not available on the EU store for some time, I ordered it from the US store for France, flying with OMPHobby M2 & M1 plus an ALZRC 380 at the moment, pretty curious and impatient to check the quality of this new bird.

Hope that I will receive it soon :)

I will post some detailed photos when I will receive it.

Morning all, how exciting, I’ve just got an email to say these are back in stock in the EU store (not sure they were ever in stock! not that it matters) so I’ve clicked the big buy it button and hopefully it’s on its way at last.
I’ve had a quick read through the posts but needless to say I’ll go through it in more detail once mine arrives and I start setting it up.
really looking forward to it and have always wanted a scale heli having only had pod boom styles before.

    Clever solution!

(The B222 and AS350 have moved up in line on my workbench "INBOX" - need to resurrect these from the dead!)

Regarding the Tarot 450 Pro frame - I assume the skids hole pattern differs from the stock Sport V1 frame. Just curious - How did you modify the fuse to mount the mechanics? New holes?
It is significantly different in its skid mounting, the holes are centered and have different spacing. I used those central skid mounting screws to bolt on the plastic lower tray from the Sport V1 mechs as a sort of adapter plate.
