Added 6" to ESC to LiPo Wires, Need for Cap Pack?

Hello all,
I had to add about 6" to my ESC to LiPos wires, do I need to add a cap pack? I'm building a Roban B407 scale and had to route the ESC wires around the back of the frame and back to the front. I'm now worried for possible ESC damage.

Lots of good options for the B407 battery & esc mounting in the “B407 AeroMed” thread. lt1pwr mounted his esc under the rear seats. As for the capacitors, I convinced myself they are more for racing cars that see rapid & frequent throttle changes vs helis that maintain a nearly stable constant headspeed with less amp spikes. My assumption could certainly be wrong, but sounds logical to me.
