XK K100 with Gyro 244mm replacement

I couldn't find any posts on replacing the rotor assembly, so I wanted to ask the question.
My rotor bracket that goes from the main helicopter back to the rotor blade motor has split. I have ordered both a new rotor and post, but also just the brackets that go between the rotor and the main unit.
the question is, how much of the main unit needs to be taken apart to get the coupler through to install the new bracket.
Is there instructions printed somewhere?
And what size shrink tube is that, 1mm?
