    What’s a good tail servo?

Hi all. Looking for a good solid tail servo to put into my 700 Apache build. Was considering the BK ds7006hv or the MKS HBL980. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Haven’t used the newer BK 7006hv, but I’m sure it would be a good choice. The specs are excellent, and I’ve found the BKs to be reliable. I’ve also used the HBL 980 on a few builds and it also works well, very reliable. Either one would do the job well. If you want pure torque, the MKS X6 HBL599 in also a fantastic choice, but more is expensive.

I around Christmas I picked up a whole set of BK 9001HV (cyclic) and BK 9005HV (rudder). I like the tail one so much, that I got two more. They are more expensive... but I think they will be my goto tail servo for 600-800 size heli's.
I'm completely impressed with them... very strong, super quiet, no buzzing, humming etc.
I would imagine that the 7006 is a great product as well...
