Male tail plug FW 450

The male plug on my FW 450 was installed upside down, will not fit into female plug in helocopter.
IF I had info it looks like I could push together the two white clips on the sides, pull out the plug and reinstall correctly.
I called Motion RC, they did not understand the problem?
If I can remove and replace without damage I'd give it a try, other than that it has o go back, just got it Saturday, tried to put together today.
Any help??

Or the female plug inside copter is in wrong, do you have a photo of the correct position? Can I remove and replace?

I looked at your picture, the instruction manual and the picture of the boom in spare parts and can't really tell. It looks like you should be able to pull it loose from the boom turn it 180 and put it back. Inside it is just wires so they will twist no issue.

To remove plug: push in on the two tabs on either side of the boom, very carefully, put fingernails into the small space between plug and boom, pull out reverse processes, putting plug back in the correct way!
