Hey folks, I thought I should just give a quick update on the Jayhawk. I repaired the helo after a spectacular crash, and have put about 20 flights since. The thing about this helo is that you gotta be careful when flying in auto mode. It has not run away since the repair but it can drift a bit. If a drone user comes to this model thinking it will be solid like a DJI and etc., it can surprise them. I always have my finger on the "throttle hold" switch when flying anything auto. Also, don't use optical flow when flying over smooth floors, snow, etc. it can "slide" on you uncontrollably. Just be careful. Thanks for reading!

I purchased the YU XIANG 220 coast guard helicopter just over a month ago and spent $550 for it! When I took it out for it's first flight it would only do the startup where the blades spin slowly waiting for the lift off command, It would not respond when I did the GPS auto lift or in manual mode when I increased the throttle power, After jumping through their hoops of taking videos of the chopper not responding at the same time showing the controller and position of the switches they finally agreed to do an exchange but only after they got back mine and tested it for themselves, This whole proses took over 3 weeks, When I got the new one I took it out flying twice with no problems but the third time in GPS mode when I did the auto take off and hover it went to full power and went up and backwards and inputs on the controller did nothing so it got so high I was losing site of it so I had to hit the kill switch and watch my $550 bird fall to it's death after only 2 flights!!
. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!! I HAVE HAD SEVERAL CHOPPERS AND ONE DJI PHANTOM 3 DRONE AND DIDN'T HAVE A KILL ALL SWITCH ON THEM THAT I CAN RECALL, IS THIS BECAUSE THEY KNOW THIS HAPPENS??

My seahawk I purchased at the beginning of the the month flew great for the first 5 flights then the 6th flight I took off and went to a hover and it all of a sudden went to full power in reverse and went tail first into the ground. Just received the parts to repair so after spending $574 on the helicopter and another $200 on parts to fix im
it sure I’ll fly mine again! Wow I’m surprised you got a new one. My battery charger was no good out of the box and I still don’t have a charger I had to buy a after market charger!

Update to my F09-H Seahawk. I purchased last July from Banggood . Battery charger was no good right out of box. It crashed on its 5th flight same as others take off and it climbs and goes full speed in reverse into the ground. I paid $574. With 3 batteries and fpv camera.
after no luck from Banggood or YuXiang because I didn’t purchase from them. Through emails with them they convinced me to purchase the new updated flight control board. Which I did along with new servos, fuselage rotor head( which I replaced with a metal unit) anyway $350 spent. In January I finally was ready to do a test flight. Fuselage was not installed but i figured I test fly.
it flew perfectly in auto mode, manual mode, everything worked as it should. I ended up with 2 flight without the fuselage and two with. Then it happened I went to take off and when it got about 2 feet off the ground it increased head speed and went into reverse and started bouncing tail first off the ground and I hit the stop switch.
Broke tail rotor nicked the main rotors, broke off tail wheel assembly. Cracked the fuselage broke rear wing .
I’ve balanced a new set of blades and I’m about to try it again without fuselage. These things are dangerous

Well damn, Im afraid to take my uh60 back out for its second flight now after reading these forums. I dont understand do you have to do that Gyro and Compass calibration each time I go to fly it ? Because I had trouble the first time. The yellow light kept flashing, It never did turn green like the manual said it would. So held it and rotated it like in the manual and a video I seen and some how got a green light. So I set it down and it worked fine until it landed itself 50ft away from home when the battery got low. I thought it was supposed to fly back home on its own. All the videos make it look good Yu Xiang got my 550 bucks. But now I dont know about a second flight, I might just admire it.
