  • Riverton 2106

Headed down to Riverton for their Birthday Bash yesterday and took the Tigercat and Bearcat.
Pretty decent day surprisingly as it was 41 degrees when we left Cody but got up to 61 as we hit Riverton which is about 2 1/2 hours away.
Great bunch of guys there and we had a great time. Took some pics but was too busy talking and flying. Had a pretty good cross wind which made it fun. Did one of the classic vertical climbs with the Bearcat. She just keeps on going. Everyone loved La Patrona, she's such a princess! She flew well and I met a guy who is expecting delivery next week so he was jacked to see one in person and see it fly.
FlightLine and Motion R/C are really starting to pick up around here. I remember last year, no one had heard of them, great to hear!

Was a good time. I had the retract pop out on the Bearcat on the first landing, no biggie, out with the glue let her set a while and then back in the air after taxiing her around a bit, they have that stone-like pavement so it gave her a work out before I blasted her back in the air. There was some questioning about foamies and their ability. One fellow was saying that he flew the pants off his foamies then got into 'real' (alluded to) planes. So when the Bearcat proceeded to do a 400 foot loop, rolls, barrel rolls, Immelmans and reverse Immelmans, I think I made my point. Always fun!
Then, I kissed her down on the runway. 'nuff said. That 650 and corsair prop just delivers!!
