Sorry I posted more than one photo of the same plane. Please except my apologies.
I couldn't pick just one. I love them all , so I'm going to make your decision tougher by making you guys choose the one picture and I will live with what you pick
.
I've all ready won just by completing the plane in time to show up for the contest. It made me feel alive to rush to meet your deadline. The fun is always in the journey and to love doing the process and learning new things as you go through it.
I have made so many new friends around the world through this plane, and that was the true prize.
Deciding on a picture is hard when you take too many of them. The 1600mm Spitfire is still my favorite plane to fly. She’s graceful and solid as a rock in the air. Love it. The original Silver Spitfire flew around the globe in 2019. The first Spitfire to have ever done this, and probably the only one. She flew passed Mt Hood, Oregon along the way, but sadly I didn’t get to see her as I was at work. I landing in Seattle about 20 minutes after she departed. Real shame.
My mini Silver Spitfire is one of the few planes that my girl friend has really supported, and so its special to me in that way also. Callie did the graphics for me. She’s had an engine fire and a bad snow landing, but outside of that she’s been faultless. She’s flown at a few events and is always appreciated as being different. She even got to fly with a JAS-39 recently at the field. I WANT ONE! Haha.
I’m thinking the pic on the mountain with the plane pointing at the mountain, but......
