  • Since there was a Nod to Bud Anderson......dont forget about Bob Hoover

Alpha How about a nod to Bob Hoover with a Shrike Aerocommander.?

Be a nice civil air representation with the AL-37 and the KingTwin. Plus the Shrike had legendary airshow appearances

Bob Hoover was described by General Chuck Yeager as 'The Greatest stick and rudder man I ever knew'
Personally, I saw him fly many times in the Shrike and the P-51D Old Yeller and Howie Keefe's Miss America. Bob could make a Mustang do just about anything, because, in my opinion, they were too afraid not to. There will never be a pilot so skilled as Bob!

Me with Ole Yeller at Powell, Wy Wings and Wheels show.

Happy 101st Birthday to Clarence "Bud", 'Andy' Anderson who is no slouch in a Mustang either! He is a national treasure and our oldest surviving WWII (or any other conflict for that matter) Ace.
    Actually he's a triple ace!
