We have been overwhelmed with people wanting to know about all these Freewing and Flightline planes, they're having the Scale Nats here as well and a lot of those guys have been coming up wanting to know about the "Foamies":Cool:

I made it up to NEFI this morning just to hang out for a bit, then wandered over to the scale masters on the other site. Didnt bring anything to fly, just like to observe sometimes. Was an honor to meet Steve, George and Captain Mike this morning.

Some pictures from NEFI today. The weather has been good in spite of a couple short showers. It is cooler and more comfortable because of it. A cross wind kicked up a bit today but it did not keep people from flying and at about 7 PM it got beautiful. I flew first thing this morning and later in the early evening. In between I fixed my Lippy and took pictures and video. Also got numerous Facebook Live videos up on TiredIron Aviation's Facebook page. The AMA got video of George flying his 700th consecutive days and even gave him a cake for it. Captain Mike arrived today with a FlightlineRC P-38 and Spitfire for the raffle and there are Motion RC hats, lanyards and stickers galore to give away. I got two awesome flights on my F-4J this evening which Mike filmed so I look forward to seeing the video of that. All in all just a fantastic day.

I’ve been desperately trying to finish my Thud to bring. I’m running in to some major problems with the graphics I’m using, and paint, and it still needs some clear coat. I really wanted it to have a NEFI reveal!:Angry:
Maybe I’ll still bring it, if an experienced hand launcher and competent edf jet pilot would do her maiden for me. Any takers?

I had my trailer loaded for a Thursday departure but like I said I didn't want to sleep in the trailer. Maybe next year?

I would have got a motel room but I don't really have the money for 3-4 days for a motel. And bunking in my cargo trailer would be uncomfortable with the humidity even with a fan.

Yes I would have liked to spend that motel money on a new plane! The temperature and humidity this weekend in muncie won’t be that bad, in the 60s. You should come!

If I had a motorhome with A/C I would have made the trip.

I hate doing the motel thing. Sucks to leave the site just to find a bed, I feel like the party goes on and I’m missing out!

Sorry to hear MB. George and I got here about 1:30 without incident. Weather is looking better for tomorrow and Saturday.
