I've been pretty fortunate over the years...All of my friends and family have been supportive and even in awe over the planes I fly. My wife tolerates it until the garage gets too cramped and then she starts to mumble. So I have a definite threshold/quota I can maintain before she gets in my ear about it. Otherwise she's pretty supportive (see: indifferent) until I order a new scale pilot. Then the jokes come out in full swing:

"Oh look, you got yourself another new doll! How cuuuuuute!"

Mine didn't complain that much about the RC's them self ,it was the electric bill from constantly charging batteries ,soldering batteries together
an wot-not ,I use to be real heavy in to buggies an boats in the 90's ,my planes were all nitro ,but still had to charge trans. & rec. batts.!
