Sad days in Aviation

C-47 crash looks like a stall on takeoff... There's a report that it may have had engine failure, but I don't see or hear indication of that in the video.
Whatever the guy with the camera saw or herd... I'm just not seeing or hearing it.

Thankfully it sounds like all will survive, though one is badly burned.
This crash was pretty close to me and on a local fire/rescue FB page with more information.

Further on the C-47:

Someone said the pilot may have been between a rock and a hard place. If it was veering off runway, there's a culvert at the runway edge which has ripped the landing gear off a few airplanes. that would have left him with a choice of lift the wheels with inadequate airspeed or have the bottom ripped out of the airplane. (crash or crash)

The guy doing the video may have seen the plane headed for that culvert...

I'm going with overloaded and anxious to get to the show. It will be interesting to read the NTSB report.
