Congratulations Dan! I moved to Tennessee 21 years ago from Nova Scotia and became a U.S. Citizen in 2013. I enjoyed the ceremony seeing many people coming from countries that were impoverished, unlike the U.S. or Canada, getting the opportunity to really experience a different lifestyle. Their faces were beaming.
Thanks! It's quite the experience just leaving you home country, but I haven't regretted one moment. Sure looking forward to getting the official blessing!!
Thanks Todd!
Still thinking about that maiden flight of the Corsair!
Out here, we've had literally zip for snow. Good to see you got the maiden of the 'little' Corsair in !

Yes indeed, now I need to come to terms with the fact that my Big Girl Corsair is going to be ready this Summer. Gives me plenty of time to load up on the proper anxiety meds for the maiden. LOL
Thanks all you guys!! I'm so jacked. I started this process way back in 2010 and to think its almost over is, well, a tough one to wrap my mind around as you can imagine!
Can't wait for the fourth of July this year as it will have a special meaning this time, well, more special than usual, I'll start celebrating on the 28th and every dang flag I own will be up in the yard!
I have a special Veterans flag as well that's never been flown that will go up as well, never forget our vets!
Amen Dan!!! A lot of our Canadian brothers shed their blood in Normandy and all along the way. Same with the boys down under!!! No worries!!! Thanks you all for your service and congrats again!!!

Yep, my Uncle was there with the Seaforth Highlanders, never forget. Can't wait to see some of the events of the 75th Anniversary of D Day!
I'm Official !! An real American Citizen!!:Cool::Cool::Cool::):)
So pleased with the ceremony and man, when you're taking that Oath of Citizenship, its powerful, I was so in tha moment, when the judge finished the sentence that made me Official, I swear, I heard every letter and the period at the end of the sentence and :Sun::Win::Rainbow:, I was American!
Thanks for all the support from the guys on Hobbysquawk!!
