  • Tired Iron George Baker under the weather

I wanted to let the community know that my very dear friend George Baker has been experiencing some health issues lately and is being admitted to the hospital for some testing. No details yet but please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He will not be able to make it to Nall in the Fall as a result.

Hoping he is able to make a speedy recovery! Thoughts and prayers.

May your tests show treatable conditions. May you return home soon and in great shape. May this be but just a small speed bump on a road that's got many, many more miles of smooth travel left to go.

For those wondering, George is back home earlier than expected from the hospital. He is still weak but recovering. I saw him yesterday evening and he was more himself fussing at me about needing to rotate my tires. I am extremely thankful that he is improving.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys, I got home yesterday evening after one test came back ok enough for them to let me come home to rest up a few weeks so I'm strong enough for the gallbladder surgery (long standing issue), I'll more than likely be down another 4-6 weeks. I'm just going to rest and do what they say.
