Looks like the folks at Vintage Wings Canada have too much time on their hands and have created a series of "fake" Canadian Aviation stories using photoshop and lots of old and thoughtful aviation lore which they cobble together to create "almost believable" stories which are interesting enough. I have included photos of "Operation Icefire" which was supposed to be about coastal Spitfires painted white to patrol for Nazi U-Boats along the Labrador coast. A nice try for sure. Some dude painted a Spitfire model in the Icefire livery and there is a simulator video on youtube too... .
