Hey everyone new to rc air. Have raced nitro 1/8 scale for awhile and decided to give flying a try. Got the apprentice 1.2. Been putting it through its paces. Just picked up the Arrows rc 1100mm f4u-4 corsair. Gotta get an nx-6 and reciever then give that thing a try.

Welcome to addictive world of rc aircraft, WVfoambuster... as well as Hobby Squawk!
The Apprentice is a good starter to get you comfortable in the air. The trick is to never get too complacent. Always do your preflight checks before leaving the flight deck. No matter how comfortable you get. Only takes one bad servo to ruin your day! I started with the DX6, myself. If you think you're ready to spend on a decent radio, look into an 8 channel and above. Otherwise, as your hangar grows, and it will, you'll want more channels down the road.Dynam; E-Flite; Freewing
