    Lest We Forget

Enjoy the day and always remember those who have given more than we have given.

Very well said, Elbee. Probably many of us have had a family member or someone they know who has given the ultimate sacrifice for our country. In my case, I am always mindful of my dad who died on active duty in the USAF many years ago. I was only an infant so I have no remembrance of him, but I am always very proud of his service in combat in WWII, Korea, and the "Cold War" in the 1950s against the Soviet Union.

God Bless all our veterans who gave the last full measure of devotion for all of us today!

I went out to do my Memorial Day flight with my Blue Angels Bearcat, only to have my radio fail and the bird flew herself, after some wild gyrations, straight into the ground!
I had my new Avanti as well and so did some range tests with that and sure enough, the signal was erratic at best. Bound it to a friends radio and it worked fine. After 12 years of faithful service, time to retire the DX8 gen 1 ordered a new Nx8+20.
BTW, not to detract from our wonderful servicemen and women who put their lives on the line for our freedom, never forget, I never will, Have all my flags up this weekend in their honor.
Question, why isn't it declared Veterans month from May 8 to June 6th??
