Hello from France - new RC enthusiast

Hi everyone, Dani here, writing from near Bordeaux, France. I am fairly new to the RC world - I picked up a small electric trainer plane this summer and I have been practising on weekends ever since. Still working on my landings, to be honest! I joined because this forum seems to be the friendliest place to learn: setup tips, battery care, and all the beginner mistakes to avoid. Looking forward to reading your build threads and maybe asking a few questions. See you around!

      Welcome!
I see you've run across the absolute essential to the hobby.
Best advice I can give you is to use your throttle to control descent. as you slow, you lose lift and you'll descend. Practice level flight and reduce throttle a bit and you'll see. You can find the sweet spot that will allow and nice easy descent to the runway. If you are having trouble finding the runway, aim the plane towards you and then push it out slightly, you should be standing by the runway and the least corrections you have to do, the more you can concentrate on descent.
