  • Blue Angel Heritage Flight

    The Blues are getting ready to start the 2017 Air Show season. During a recent event the Flight Lead did a heritage flight with an F6F and F8. These are not my photos (obviously ;) ), but I found them in the Navy photo gallery. Just look at these beautiful birds!

                  Thanks! Now the goal is to keep her in one piece for the next year or two. ;)

                  And so I'm not completely hijacking the thread, back to the Blue Angels, I have loved them ever since I was a little kid seeing them fly over Lake Washington during SeaFair. There were some years without them flying due to budget and other restrictions, it was a huge hole. So happy they are back doing their thing. Oh to go up in one! Those local news anchors that get to go up in the VIP ride are so lucky! Here's a TV anchor that went up in one...And she passes out in three, two, one....
