Hey guys, I have an old Motion R/c ball cap that I've worn on every flight since I got it last Spring (2016) I washed it a few times to try to get it back to some semblance of new, but no luck. I was going to give up on it, but took it to Nefi anyway. We had Ryan over for coffee one morning and I got looking at his, which is even more discolored than mine, to the point that it was almost leather-ish, pretty cool!! A FIFTY MISSION HAT ! my brain finally declares. Now, my old beat up cap is a symbol of pride !
For those of you who don't know, a fifty mission hat was what the pilots in WW II started when the'd take the hoop out of the hat and beat it up a bit, it was the sign of a real jock in those days, and here we are carrying on the tradition, so, if you have one, lets see your fifty mission hat. Maybe Ryan will post his as well, you'll see what I mean, really cool !!
