    freewing FA-18 bec

    the bec lights up. All control surfaces work correctly. but the motor wont arm. it has a start up tune then beeps once,twice,three times. lights on the wing flash. any ideas?

    Sounds like throttle stick or possibly throttle TRIM not at complete zero.
    Presuming you did of course not forget to bind the Rx to your Tx first. Do that, & perform a range check?

      Might also be that your throttle needs to be reversed. Just a thought if the other suggestions don't work out.

        Just a reminder - in testing to sort this out, if you can, remove the fan, else cover the air intake with something that won't suck in. You don't want your airplane leaping across the room when it comes alive.

          WintrSol is so correct! I made the mistake of reversing throttle, inside my shop, yet. My plane instantly went to full throttle. Need I say how ugly that was?!!! The Doctor
