  • DX8 Parts

With friend today and exiting my truck his DX8 took a spill the Aileron /elevator gimbal is shot (broken beyond quick fix - need a new one) as is one of his switches. Does anyone know of a good place to buy the parts or should he just send it in for repair? We were able to get broken parts out and he was able to do a rudder / aileron mix and fly his sport cub s without the stick (able to get a little elevator).

    RE: DX8 Parts

I would send it in to Horizon for repair.  They are really good with their turn around.

      RE: DX8 Parts

Thx man, he has opened a ticket with them for support to see how much etc it would cost. He is more prone to send to them than i would *LOL*. He pretty much summed it up with us. He is the windows of flying (spektrum controller and RX), I am the Linux of flying (Taranis, OrangeRX, Frsky) and I would be more prone to repair myself.
