Ok, I have decided to upgrade my Tx/Rx. I am moving from glow/gas to EDF's. I only have $150 or preferably LESS to spend on a new Tx/Rx. I know $150 really limits my selection but it is what it is right now. Can you guys please give me some ideas here? I have been looking at the following but not real sure anymore with all the new technology. Also, I want something that is easy to program and doesn't have a million bells and whistles.

This one seems to have good reviews and looks fairly easy to program: https://www.motionrc.com/collections...mitter-with-rx

    Graupner
    Gavin
    Tactic
    Futaba Spektrum

    Thanks,

You get a lot of bang for the buck with this FrSky entry level xmitter ... option to run Open Source firmware, telemetry equipped, nicely priced receivers, etc. Available in white or black.

I also personally like my Tactic eight channel transmitter as another really affordable option. Not as full featured as the higher end (read as more expensive) transmitters but a nice rig for the price.

I'll check into these, thank you. What are your thoughts on the Gavin brand of Tx's?
