    A3l in a nitro plane.

I just currently got into nitro glow plane and would like to know if the a3l gyro would preform as well as it does in my electrics. Hope someone out there has used one in this application and is able to advise me before I order more already running two in a corsair and bi plane.

RE: A3l in a nitro plane.

Running an A3L gyro in a nitro or gas plane is not a good idea. The problem will be vibration, the gyro will sense all the vibration from the engine and give false information to the servos, which in turn will show up in the flying. If you can eliminate every bit of vibration it will work fine, the problem will be trying to eliminate it all.

Thanks Martin. I appreciate the input. I didn't even think of the vibration difference. I sure hate it to. Planes really fly nice with the gyro.
