I need to buy another receiver if I buy this one can you fly with recovery on like the as636a ss receiver and set up a switch to turn recovery off . I watched the videos but it only talks about the gyro on and off. I guess it would be combo a but being able to fly with recovery on and using a switch to turn recovery off, hope this makes sense lol. I guess I would like to use it as a ar636a safe selct where you can turn recovery on and off with a switch. thanks for your help.

None of the Admirals have SAFE............that's pretty much a Spektrum exclusive at this point in time ;)Warbird Charlie

The Admiral stabilizer receivers have a "recovery" mode that is the equivalent of the "SAFE" mode in Spektrum receivers. I have one in my P-15 Lippisch. Recovery mode works fine. I have it on a switch. Here's the quick set-up guide.
