  • Gyro/Dual rates,,same?

I was wondering.....Since I'm new to Airplanes and jets that when one uses a Gyro for a plane...is that the same sort of thing when one sets Dual rates on his/her transmitter?

First off, welcome to the forum :) . Not the same thing. A gyro equipped plane will try to maintain a flight attitude automatically by controlling the servos. Dual rates are a transmitter setting where you choose 2 different settings of how much your stick movement relates to the actual servo movement, so basically how sensitive your plane is to your stick inputs.
