  • Re centering servos after making trim adjustments

Is it a good process to mechanically re center the servos after making the necessary trim adjustments. In other words change the pushrods length in order to get the tx trim positions back to center? Will it damage the servos if you don't and just keep flying with the trims off center?

SWOFLY Leaving your servos trimmed off center won't hurt the servos.

It is a good practice to adjust the linkages so that the servo is back to center. This helps to ensure that the control surface deflection is equal in both directions. The further from servo center the surface is trimmed, the more pronounced the difference will be.
