  • Eagle A3L V2 and Admiral RX700T

I have a Freewing F18 with a Admiral 7 channel receiver with telemetry
The F18 has an external bec. So my connections are as so

    Ch 1 Throttle
    Ch 1 Aile
    Ch 3 Elevator
    Ch 4 Rudder
    Ch 5 Gear
    Ch 6 Flaps
    Ch 7 BEC

So with this setup all my servo ports are used up.
This does not leave me with a channel for running a wire from the A3L to the receiver to program a switch on my radio.

On Motion RC's website I see that their receivers jumps from 7 channel to 10 channel.
However the 10 channel receivers do not have telemetry.
Is there another way I can connect the A3L to the 7 channel receiver so I can program a switch to turn the gyro on and off?
Or do I have to make a decision on having no switch with telemetry vs having a 10 channel receiver with no telemetry but I can program a switch?

Mackmc70 Hello Mack and welcome to the Squawk.

Just Y the UBEC(that is what an external BEC is called) and the A3L into channel 7
The UBEC does not use the yellow/white signal wire

    Best regards,
    Warbird Charlie
