  • Connect to controll panel to 1 servo

Hi, i am wondering if someone can help me to explain if its possible to connect 2 controller like GT Power Professional Digital Servo Tester to 1 servo so i can adjust the servo from both of the controller?

I have a servo connected to my boat engine so i can adjust the speed from a potentiometer right now but since i use my boat for fishing and the potentiometer is at the front of the boat i would like to install so i can adjust the servo from the front of the boat and also from the back of the boat. I would like to use a controller which i can adjust the servo with pushin buttons instead of the potentiometer.

Can anyone help me how i can install the setup with pushing buttons?

This is theoretical and I have no direct experience with any of the parts involved.

An Arduino board could probably be used to take multiple input sources to drive the single servo. I know that robotics people use Arduinos to drive servos so from there it is purely a coding issue.

I can see some potential pitfalls with this approach, but someone familiar with coding Arduinos to drive servos could help.

A couple of places to start. Find a local maker space. They should be able to point you to someone.

Second, try contacting a local high schools STEM program. It could be a project they might want their kids to
