I fly FPV using DJI FPV head tracking to get close to other planes for in flight shots, in formation or mock dog fight. But the 1080P and wide field of view footage often leave my target still a bit small and limited options while editing to zoom in without degrading resolution too much. So I decided on getting a 4K camera to see if that would give me better shots, and also from different perspective other then from the cockpit.
So I bought a RunCam 2 4K, attached it under the tail of my T-33. Have my buddy chase it with a F-14 to get front views of the Tomcat. Here’s how it turn out (watch in 4K):
