  • A3 L V2 and mixing?

    Hi Guys

Do you know if the A3 L V2 will work if the transmitter has mixes active, ie Throttle and Rudder, Ailerons and Rudder etc?

I'm sure I heard somewhere that with all Gyro's/Stabilisers - all mixes have to be deleted or de-activated on the transmitter. Is that correct?

    Thanks

That's a different kind of "mix". What you heard deals with the mixing involved when declaring "wing type" or "aircraft type". It refers to things like "1 AIL, 1 flap" or elevon, etc. That must be set in the gyro, NOT in the TX. Generally, when using a gyro, the TX stays at "normal wing/tail", with the exception of telling it you've got flaps as flaps aren't affected by the gyro (unless you have a gyro whereby you can hook up flaps to it to get flaperons - the A3-L can't do that).
What you're asking about has to do with telling a certain control surface to do something when another control surface does something. Sort of like "master/slave" deal. That kind of mix doesn't effect how a gyro works. As an aside, gyros work on the primary control surface - AIL, ELE, RUD.
