mobius mini external Lipo set up questions

Hi-I am about to purchase a mobius miniV2 from Motion RC and thanks in advance for your responses to these questions:
1. If I use an external Lipo (e.g. 1000 mAh 2s), which BEC is recommended to supply reliable 5 volts?
2. Is there a premade wiring harness for attaching the external lipo, BEC, and an on/off switch to be attached to the USB port?
3. If no premade harness, do you suggest to just modify a charging USB cable?
4. Any thoughts about the mobius mini sold by Motion RC (e.g. authentic or copy)?

A Runcam 2 might be a better option .Works on 5-17V ,and comes with a power, and video out cable.
