AR637T Input Config/Channel Assign for Panic Button query

I’m flying my Avanti in AS3X only , but I have my B switch (NX8) set to 3 flight modes SAFE, Intermediate and AS3X. If I need to ‘Panic’ I switch the B switch down to SAFE. What I’d like to do is use the I button instead for panic but I can’t see how I can set it up in Channel Assign.
Ive attached my Input Config and Channel Assign set up if anybody can suggest a better way, thanks

I don't believe that's where you do it. My SAFE is on a 3-position switch just like yours is now, however, it you want to use the bind button, I believe that is done in the "forward programming" in the SAFE (bank angle, etc.) menu page. I think that's where you can assign it to a button. Go take a look when the plane is powered up. I could be mistaken, but I know it can be done.
