Scorpion backup guard but no spare RX slots?

About the maiden the Avanti and noticed my FRSky X6R has the slightest Flickr on the green LED. Its working fine and has not had an issue during the whole setup procedure. I have a backup guard which will supply enough current if it detects a drop in the BEC voltage.
Problem is all 6 slots are in use on the RX.
Can I use a Y cable and connect it into the system?

Perfect! I mention about turning it on because in the days when I used to use the Scorpion, I sometimes forgot to turn it on. After landing, saying to myself, "So what was that all for anyway?"
