I think they are specific to certain models. If you are looking for a replacement for your plane, you need to look at the parts page for that model and decide if you want a nose retract (steerable) or a main retract (fixed). You must also look at the pin diameter that matches what you've got on your plane. They come in 4.1mm and 5.1mm sizes. Some have pins, other don't. There are different Type D and different Type D2 retracts. Not all type D are the same and not all type D2 are the same.
