  • Spektrum throttle channel problem

I’ve got a Spektrum DXS radio and a AR410 receiver, both brand new. When I plug my ESC into the throttle port, the propeller is controlled by a switch on the top of the radio. I have no idea what’s wrong and need help.

This ESC lead that you are plugging into the throttle port, is it plugged in with proper polarity? You’re not very specific about exactly which switch is “controlling” the throttle. However, it is likely that this switch is the “throttle cut”. When it’s in one position, the throttle does NOT work, correct? When the switch is in the other position, the throttle should work. Does it? If the throttle activates when you throw the switch and you don’t even move the throttle stick, this could mean that your throttle trim is too high and/or that you have not calibrated the throttle.

The switch was the throttle cut. I figured out a little bit after I posted this, when I was reading the instructions in depth.
