NX8 charging problems

The charge point on my NX8 has become detached so I’m going to have to charge the battery outside the transmitter. The transmitter would charge the battery to about 4.2 volts but when I try and charge it on my Overlander charger, set to LiFe 1s battery it won’t charge it above 3.6 volts. Just wondering how the Overlander’s internal charger pushes it up to 4.2 v ?

The NX8 uses a Li-Ion battery. Why are you charging it on a LiFe setting?

PS. You should just fix the charge port.
