  • Lemon 10-Channel w/stabilization and telemetry.

I have 2 Lemon 7-Channel with stabilization and telemetry. Both use all 7 channels, stabilization always on, gain adjustable on channel 8. Both work great as advertised. I have the 10 channel with stabilization and telemetry coming for a Gripen with vectored thrust. I have available an esc with reverse. If I use the reverse option I will use up all 10 channels on the receiver. (reverse would be on the available flap channel, the Gripen has no flaps).Reading the directions for the incoming 10 channel receiver, the default for the adjustable gain channel is channel 8. On the 7 channels this was no issue, however here it is a problem, I need all 10 channels. The instructions for the 10 channel looks like it was copied word for word from the 7 channel. So, if anyone has used the 10 channel, is channel 8 truly the default ? Can I assign another "phantom channel" ? I'll find out when I get it , thought I would ask here. If channel 8 is truly the default I will forego the reverse and use the flap for one of the Canards. Thanks !!

When they first came out I borrowed one from a friend who ordered a few. I saw no way to get all the channels like I wanted. BTW I have three Gripens and the non TV uses 8 ch and the TV 11 but I have separate steering and afterburners.

Well, this is quite frustrating. I can get the receiver to bind in delta mode. Enabling stabilization then seperates the aileron and elevator channels. I then rebound while in delta and could not get stabilization to be on always. Oye ! Taking a break and getting on it later!

Well, after reading ALL the words, the issue was the wrong wing type. 🙄 Working fine now.😎🎊

Had a 7 channel in my brand new Avanti. Lost connection and lawn darted her. On hindsight, I had it right next to the battery and that may be why I lost connection, expensive mistake

Sorry to hear about that, Dan. I crashed my F-4 yesterday. Ruined the fuselage, but everything else is salvageable. I think I had some battery issues and couldn’t get it back to the runway. I’m going to go a different direction, for now. I ordered a F-15C ARF+ from MRC and it should be here on Saturday. I might still eventually get another F-4 someday, maybe in the SEA paint scheme. I hate that they don’t offer “clean” models without any markings that we can more easily customize to our liking. I hope they change that someday.

I agree, I loved the era of the 'clean' models. My Bearcats, Spitfire and Tigercat all came with optional decals. You would think that would be cheaper than paying someone to apply decals. Besides, they don't take the care that we would, prime example is my FMS P51D, Big Beautiful Doll. Someone did a terrible job on the nose checkering.

                Good evening guys,

I seem to be in the same situation. I just put together a FW Mirage 2000 and installed a Lemon 7ch w/ gyro, bound it to my Spektrum iX14 wing type Elevon A which suppose to be the same as Delta. I turn the gyro on but the stabilizer isn't doing anything. I don't know if I have to do any changes in the radio or the receiver isn't working properly. Please can someone help.

You have to turn on the stabilization which will not turn on if you have more than the ESC plugged into it. The most common mistake that I and many others are guilty of making. Once all your internal programming is complete, then plug everything else into the receiver and check the direction in which the gyro is working. I assigned the gyro gain to the knob and cranked it that stabilization will jump! Control surfaces will go in the direction of movement if they are correct.

I saw that James from Motionrc has a video on how to setup the Gripen w/ tv and he only uses 9 channels. https://www.motionrc.com/products/fr...t-pnp-fj21815p

No reversing. As soon as you start using a stabilized receiver you'll need even more channels.
