  • Free Wing retracts battery power limiting

Hello I use several sets of the Free Wing 5.1 retracts same type as used in their AL-37. SincecI am running them in a plans built airplane which has over 12 servos I use a 6.6 SPEKTRUM LiFe power supply and thf Free Wing retracts will.not tolerate voltages over a 5.5V ⚡ voltage so After getting in touch with Motion RC service advisor Ozzy I ordered a ZTW 6A UBEC to lower the LiFe 6.6V pack to 5.5V . When I received the UBEC today and need to know how to install it (I have extra connectors as well as soldering skills. The simple question is I only want to step down the 6.6voltage to the retracts only. How dobI wire it in must be a simple enobexplaination whichbI failed to ask Ozzy for. Tks

Hello all chomping at the bit need to solve the voltage delimma. I have a 10A peak ZTW UBEC 6A and need to know how to use it to drop the SPEKTRUM LiFe 6.6 V reciever channel retract out put going Flite Line retracts which specifically state Not to exceed a voltage ⚡ of 5.5 to avoid burning out the Free Wing Retracts installed in my EASTERN AIRLINES Constellation.
