  • MrRC Sound problem

I have a 4.1 card which I bought a couple of years ago. Could never get it to work properly so I thought I’d give it another go.
Its in my fantastic FW 1600 Spit, however the throttle noise doesn’t seem to increase with the throttle, just stays at tick over. I’ve Y leaded the sound card to the throttle channel on the Spektrum AR637T rx
Just wondering whether I should get the updated Aspire system from MRC.
Also where do you buy extra speakers ? MRC don’t seem to sell them.
    Thanks

I have that in my Spit and FW and they work perfect. Can I suggest more troubleshooting?

I’ve put in some thin hardboard in the battery compartment cover and plan to fix the speaker to the hardboard.
When I bring the throttle back to idle the engine noise stops and then gets out of sequence when it’s advanced. But not only that, the engine noise doesn’t change when the throttle is increased.
          All a bit unsatisfactory really.

I glued the transducer to the inside of the fuselage side behind the cockpit and with one transducer not turned up all the way have plenty of volume. As far as sequence it is what it is and you may have to plug it into a separate channel and mix it with different end points. Not sure what's up with the engine speed not working if the module starts and stops with throttle. These systems can be finicky at best.
