V3 led light controller

Was wondering since max voltage on this v3 light controller is 5.5 volts my receiver is 6 volts how can I run this without having a separate battery since I'm running my bec at 6 volts

Your receiver is whatever your ESC or BEC inputs to it. While the light controller might say 5.5V I'm sure 6 will be okay. FreeWing runs on 5.5V max mostly for their retracts.
