  • Original A3-L 2 pod gyro strange problem not addressed in any of the set up videos

Guys need some help please. I have been going back and adding this Gyro to planes that have been discontinued for the obvious reason ( irreplaceable retracts and or 3 blade scale spinners ) . The videos online by James are excellent and I have set up aprox 3 with zero issues.
My challenge is a new problem on my most recent set up. Everything is attached correctly, and I am getting a flashing red light at first power on.

Please note this is not a solid red light at power on, its a flashing light.

Nothing I try fixes the problem. Do I have a bad Gyro , two in a row ?
I have searched the Motion RC videos and every possible video on this problem with zero results.
    Any ideas ?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
    Thanks

Flashing red usually means that it's not seeing an expected signal from the receiver on one (or more) of the input slots.

Check your connections again, it's easy to insert a plug upside down without noticing.

Or maybe one of the connecting cables is bad.

THANK YOU , REALLY APPRECIATE IT .I AM ALSO GOING TO TRY A NEW RECEIVER ( BRAND NEW 8 CHANNEL ON ORDER ) . I READ A OLD POST THAT SAID THE RUDDER TRIM HAD TO BE DEAD CENTER BUT THAT DID IT , I AM GOING TO UNPLUG EVERYTHING AND WAIT FOR THE NEW RECEIVER .
THIS WAS ONE OF THE SPECTRUM RECEIVERS THAT I COMPLANED ABOUT TO HORIZON BECAUSE THE HORIZON SERVO END HAD TO BE SANDED TO FIT INTO THE SLOTS
