Binding the LEMON 7 ch rcvr/gyro to the Spektrum DX8 seems to work 100%; Programming the gyro stabilization is something else! Followed the steps in the manual (pg 5) and quick start - rcvr part seems to work OK! Cannot get the stab to function period! What's the trick? Watched several videos - none show the BLUE light switch on/off which activates the gyro/stab activation via the GEAR sw on the rcvr - that I can see. I put the bind plug in the right place (ch 5) and turned the rcvr power on - hit SW C while powering on - lights flash let go SW C then hit it once - nothing changes. If anyone knows he trick - please share.

On your TX, can you scroll down to "telemetry" and then go into the telemetry menu to open up and activate the available features? You have the RX that has the voltage sensor probe, right?

Yes that's the receiver, it binds ok, I scroll down to telemetry but does not have Tec gen ishowing!! what plug should the telemetry wire go into as I have no Tec gen in the telemetry on the Transmitter

do I need the telemetry wire connected or should TEC GEN be there anyway?

The voltage probe plugs into the small port on top. There are 2 such ports. One says "SAT" - It's NOT that one. V probe goes into the other one. Take note of the pins as they are more to one side than the other. The other single pin goes into the red wire of the battery balance plug. That should give you the volts for the whole pack. Be mindful of the voltage sage when you use high throttle. The more indicative reading is during a cruising level pass.
What's "TEC GEN"? Never heard of it.
You do know that telemetry will only tell you what is set into the RX. IE ...................... Vario, Altimeter, Energy meter (Requires V/I sensor) and Internal Temperature Sensor.

Yes Thanks, im having ti press the little button C and watch the lights flash to try to get it to work, pointless having a modern transmitter and watching lights flash! anyway, I have got it to work but the giro is only working one elevon for elevator and the other elevon for airlons!!! Don't know what's left to cure this? When I bought it I thought it would be easy to adjust on the transmitter but NO

This generally happens when you declare "elevon" in BOTH the gyro RX AND in the TX. The TX must be set to "normal wing/tail".

The trick to programming these receiver gyro is to only have the ESC plugged into it while setting up the gyro. I know, they don't tell you that in the manual, but that's what works for me, any other way is just a recipe for stress.

Yes thanks guys, I had elevons in tx as well, yes loads of stress, started a new model on Tx and that's enabled me to get it working, bit disappointed that the Nx8 wasn't able to program this

The problem isn't the transmitter. It's that you told the receiver to do "elevons" and then when you told the TX to do so too there was a conflict.

What's TEC GEN and what airplane are you programing?

I asked him what "TEC GEN" is and he never replied. He may not even actually know what it is and just heard it somewhere and assumed it meant something it doesn't. I find it frustrating when someone asks for help but doesn't explain anything when asked questions back.

                          That’s why I asked again.
