Spektrum NX charging port replacement cost ??

The charging port on the NX txs seem to be a definite weak point. This is the third time I’ve had to replace it. I’m happy to fit it myself rather than send it in . I’ve been quoted £47 for the charging port circuit board to replace myself. Seems a bit steep to me, does this sound right ?

I've had the same issue, appears to be a weak point. My get around on this is to take the battery out of the transmitter and charge it on my old SkyRc charger. You will need to use a bit of imagination to get the leads to interface with the charging cable but I've been doing it for about 7 months with no issues. Helps to have extra batteries on hand as well.
