  • Gyro for a Trainer

I have a 1400mm cesna trainer and am looking for a decent gyro to help me practice flying. What are your suggestions.... as I am leaning towards the Eagle A3 3 axis. The nearest field again is roughly 1.5 hrs away so I am going to have to go this flying stuff alone and just get er' done. Anyways.... thanks.

Hobby Eagle also sells a unit that has a stabilizer but also has an "auto balance" mode at the flip of a switch. This will help save your plane by making it right itself and fly level until you can get your wits about you again.

As does the EagleTree Guardian. All stabilizers have their strong and weak points, but I find the Guardian very adaptable to many different model needs.

Thank you guys I will look that one up. Since we are new and distance to a club is an issue of consistency.... I will be picking up several for our different planes until we are comfortable flying and our confidence builds. Again.... thank you guys very much.
