I recently installed one of these from motion rc in a great planes super sport. The problem that I am having is that as soon as I turn on the motor the control surfaces flutter badly. I balanced the prop and spinner and have very little vibration in the plane. Short of dialing the sensitivity down to the minimum I can't seem to get it to stop. By the way this is all happening while the plane is on the ground. I also have the unit anchored to the wooden battery tray with heavy duty Velcro. Any help would be appreciated. That is probably your problem. You never anchor a gyro with Velcro. The Velcro allows any vibration at all to be magnified. You needed to use a good 2 sided tape. The unit was shipped with the tape. Some have found the included tape not to hold as well as some other aftermarket products though. Get some good tape and I'm sure your problem will go away if your prop and spinner are balanced.
