I use the Eagle A3 Pro 3 on many planes. When putting in a new one, I frequently forget to set my channel 5 on the transmitter to a 3 position switch. When this happens, the stabilizer will not turn on. Other than that, I have no clue for you.

I figured out the problem with the gyro. I failed to connect a servo
lead from the bat on the receiver to the bat on the A3 unit. Now it opera=
tes
accordingly. I have had several comments from other forums that using th=

gyro would not be a good idea on the Parkzone se5a. The area I live in i=

very windy (5-10 mph or more at times) and flying my parkzone is a white
knuckle affair (especially landings). Hopefully the gyro will settle the

Koschai,
I do not know why. I have a biplane with the inexpensive A3 gyro, no
accelerometer like the expensive one, and it works great on the Waco.
I start with "low" general setting on the gain to avoid twitchyness and
then see how it flies. Do not turn on the gyro until high in flight and
observe. Increase to medium general gain after the flight if needed. You
can always turn off the gyro while in flight if it twitches.

I'm picking up the regular A3 to go in the FMS 800 Spitfire I'm buying this week (today/tomorrow, soon as I get paid) but am seriously tempted to pick up another for the SE5a. I agree they can be twitchy! So thanks.

I had the FMS 800 Spitfire and it flew well until I crashed it. See my
review (Bill) on the Motion RC site. I would fix the 2 elevators together
securely.
The plane flies well at speed. When you bank a turn, be sure to have the
throttle up, or you will wing over and crash like I did. This is especially
important going downwind where I think I need to slow down in the turn and
then wing over and crash. It flies well at 3/4 throttle. Any less and be
careful.
